Paroma Mukhopadhyay is a registered U.S. Patent Agent with experience supporting patent prosecution, patent application preparation, Office Action strategy, examiner interviews, prior art analysis, and portfolio development across a broad range of technologies. At CHIP Law Group, she works with emerging technology companies, Fortune 500 companies, and established innovators to help advance patent matters with technical precision and practical prosecution insight.

Before joining CHIP Law Group, Paroma served as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO from 2022 to 2025. In that role, she examined more than 60 U.S. patent applications and developed practical insight into patentability analysis, prior art searching, Office Action practice, and examiner interview strategy.

Paroma earned her M.S.E. and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She brings technical depth across biomedical, electrical, mechanical, and computational technologies, including medical devices, imaging systems, sensors, signal processing, control systems, machine learning, nanomaterials, and robotics.
